Communication is Key with Fleeteye CSI Survey

Contract hire and leasing companies who participate in the Fleeteye CSI could see response rates increase dramatically by regularly reminding customers of their involvement in the survey.

Feedback from members of the Fleeteye syndicate shows that when leasing companies advise their clients to look out for the survey, and communicate its benefits to customers in newsletters, bulletins and account manager review meetings, response rates rise.

“We’ve seen instances whereby companies have decided to begin promoting their involvement in the survey through their newsletters and other communications, and in subsequent surveys their response rates were higher,” said Scott Elliott of Experteye.

“This could be down to the fact that many fleet managers receive the survey by email and perhaps assume that it is just a generic industry report, without appreciating that their leasing provider is involved in it and that their feedback will steer the services provided to them in the future.”

The Fleeteye CSI survey measures fleet manager and decision-maker satisfaction across a broad range of service areas, and requests feedback to assist contract hire companies make improvements and develop longer-term strategies.

“At our last syndicate group meeting, we offered to produce a news article for all members about the Fleeteye CSI survey which could be used in newsletters and client communications,” continued Scott, “and we would be delighted to offer further letters and articles to help contract hire companies promote the benefits of this important survey, as by doing so it benefits everyone involved.”
